Stacy Carosa Photography Colorado Springs Seniors Weddings

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to tell stories.  In elementary school, I tried to write (and illustrate) a chapter book about talking crayons.  Even as a child, I knew how magical and important stories are to society and in connecting to others.  Each one of us has a story, and I tell your story through pictures.

I capture courage from behind my lens by photographing authentic, natural, and purpose seeking individuals, as well as, couples in small, intimate outdoor weddings who value moments and connections.  I create visual stories that celebrate life’s milestones, graduating from high school or college and those vowing their love in an intimate outdoor setting. I find the sentimental moments and small details to be important, and is one of the main reasons that I went into this business.  My grandma once told me that her best advice was to “follow your heart” and my heart led me to photography.

I enjoy being a part of a wedding day that is focused around having your closest family and friends present with you, but even more importantly, the joining of two best friends and partners in life.  I capture your most authentic moments during ceremonies that speak to your soul and that are set among the trees and natural landscapes.  There is beauty in the small details that have meaning to you and your partner, the things that bring purpose to each part of your day, like the flowers in your hair and why you put them there or the craft beer you hand-picked to have at your wedding because it represents the first time you met.  I preserve the joy in the marriage union and work with couples who put value in each other and the meaning of their joining together.

I also create images for individuals celebrating a milestone or sharing their courage with their closest family and friends.  I highlight and feature your beauty and the details in your story, those things that give you courage and strength in all situations in life.  Each of us has our own story to write, and the outcome can be whatever we make it.  In my photography of individuals, I bring out the personality, strengths, and imperfections that make them beautiful and admirable.  As you embark on a new chapter in life, let’s create photos to reflect those accomplishments, challenges, and triumphs.  I look forward to working with you in your seniors portraits and in your With Love session in creating images that reflect your true self.
