Colorado spring senior photography | Jenna | Colorado Forest Session

I absolutely loved meeting with Jenna for her senior session in Colorado Springs. She wanted to venture out to a location that was meaningful to her and that brought many memories, and I am all about that sentimental value in the location that is chosen for photos. She wanted to head up towards Pikes Peak, and we met at the reservoirs where she likes to go paddle boarding with her family. It was a gorgeous morning, with some fog lingering low but the perfect weather for a morning session.

Jenna was fun, energetic, timeless, and had style. She was fun to photograph because she was so in tuned with who she is, that she when seamlessly between poses. I had fun with her at her Colorado Springs senior session. I hope that as some completes her senior year and decides on her next steps in her academic career, that she finds herself holding on to that full of life personality and curiosity. Wishing Jenna al the best in all of her future adventures.

It was such a great opportunity to work with Katherine for her senior photos. She was fun, kind, and had a beautiful smile. It was great to be able to meet her and her mom at Garden of the Gods for her senior session. We had beautiful lighting and a nice, quiet space since we did Katherine’s photos later on in the season, November! Sometimes doing senior photos later in first semester of senior year (depending on yearbook headshot deadlines) helps to give students more options and a less crowded space for photos. It was fun to connect with Katherine during her session and hear about her future endeavors and goals. No doubt that she is already well on her way to reaching those. Wishing her all the best as she continues on in her journey.

It was such a pleasure to work with Anna for her senior photos. she was kind, soft-spoken, and had the most gorgeous smile. As you can tell in her photos, she has these mesmerizing dimples when she smiles, and I just loved them! When talking to Anna, it was fun to hear about her plans for the future, of which she mentioned wanting to go into the military. I am not sure if that was the route that she ended up taking, but I hope that whatever she chose, that she is happy and loving her next chapter in life. Without a doubt, she will be moving on to do great things with her life because it was clear that during her senior picture session and in talking with her, that she was ambitious and full of life. Wishing her nothing but the best in her future!

Colorado Springs Senior Portrait Photography | Dalton | Old Colorado City & Cripple Creek

I had the pleasure of working with Dalton for his senior photos. I really enjoyed meeting him and he was easy and fun to work with. Dalton is a kind and caring person, and no doubt that he will go far in his future.

For Dalton’s senior session, we split his session into two different days. The first part we ventured into Old Colorado City and took pictures among the colorful walls and pretty buildings of the town. For the second part of the session, we headed into Cripple Creek and found some of the most vibrate aspens for the fall season. One of the reasons that we headed out to Cripple Creek was because Dalton does motocross, and he wanted some pictures with his bike. I really love the photos that we got - the colors and the altogether ambiance of the images look pretty badass. I am glad that we were able to find that space to help incorporate his love of motocross.

Colorado Springs Senior Photography | Nick | Garden of the Gods Senior Session in Fall

It was such a pleasure to meet Nick for his senior portrait photo session at Garden of the Gods. We met on a weekday evening in fall, and sometimes those weekday evenings are the best because it is so much less crowded at the park, and we found some of the most beautiful variety of fall colors in the area. Not only were we able to find pretty fall colors, but we also had the iconic Garden of the Gods backdrop for some of his photos. I really love going to Garden of the Gods, especially for those looking for a special, stunning iconic Colorado Springs picture experience.

Nick was awesome to work with, as he would easily move from pose to pose. He was kind, considerate, and had a great smile! Just by spending that short amount of time with him, it was easy to see that he was a determined, hard-working student and with his kind personality, I imagine that there will be many opportunities for him in his future. Wishing him all the best in the rest of his senior year, and can’t wait for him to go any more new adventures after high school!

Colorado Springs Senior Photography | Faith | Starsmore Nature Center at Cheyenne Canyon

Faith was such a joy to work with during her Colorado Springs Senior Session at Starsmore Nature Center at the foot of Cheyenne Canyon. I loved the variety of outfits that she brought and how she showcased her talents during the session. She is a part of the Widefield High School color guard, and I even had her do a couple of her favorite moves so that we could capture some images of her doing her thang!!

Another thing that I loved about Faith is that she was so full of life and had such a positive spirit. She would like to become an actress someday, and she was ready to go into any pose and was able to easily go from the serious face to smiling genuinely. I really loved how we moved from spot to spot with ease and that she was so in her element. It made for a really fun session. I hope that all of Faith’s dreams come true and that she enjoys studying the performing arts after high school. She already has a great start, and I hope she continues to shine in her future too!

Colorado Springs Senior Photography | Garrett | Fall Colorado Session at a park

I had so much fun working with Garrett for his senior photos. He was kind, honest, and so knowledgeable. I really enjoyed chatting with Garrett about his plans for after high school and some of his favorite interests - some of which include playing games like I do! I love meeting students who have unique interests, especially when it is something that I know about and we can talk in detail.

He choose to do his senior session at a park near his house, and it was just perfect. At one of the walkways leading into the park, there was a perfect vine of red leaves, making for some awesome fall coloring. I also loved that he incorporated his favorite hat and that we were able to play around with the setting sun to create some silhouette images. It can be so fun to work with seniors who are up for us dabbling in some more artsy photos during their session while also still getting some of the more traditional poses as well. Wishing Garrett all the best in his future adventures!
